Animating a speech

I was once asked if I was available to give a speech in a farewell event at the University of Wollongong. I accepted the offer for it was a great opportunity. Giving a speech in English in front of and on behalf of international students of Asia, Pacific and Africa is certainly not something that will take place everyday. I took the opportunity as a medium to practice and learn. I took the chance with one proposal that I would not only give a speech but also make a presentation. In other words, I would support my speech with animation. I call it as “animating a speech”.

I believe I performed well on the day and the message was well-received. Surely, I presented with improvisation and without text. I re-recorded the speech and here I present the video to you with the animation. I also post the text here for you to download. Please Enjoy!
